I have always been passionate about self-development, growth and change, which led me to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Specialization in Psychology and my Master of Social Work degree. Through my education and training, I have built a holistic and balanced life that has helped me overcome my chronic health and mental health challenges. I am dedicated to helping others do the same so they can live their most authentic and full lives.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, travelling, cooking, reading, meditating, running, and being outdoors. You can often find me going for hikes, bike rides, or camping during my time off.
Through a holistic approach, I support individuals in developing the necessary tools and coping skills to overcome difficulties with emotional dysregulation, mental health symptoms, chronic health challenges and addictions. Through a collaborative approach, I work with individuals to develop goals, deepen their self-awareness and build new coping skills.
I utilize an eclectic approach in my practice, which allows me to draw on techniques from various therapeutic modalities such as Dialectic Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I also utilize a Strengths-Based, Trauma-Informed, Mindful and Anti-oppressive approach. I welcome all to my practice.
